You don't gotta point it out, you already know how bad you are for business :<
[the humor is in the ambiguity. and that's exactly the way he likes it.]
Okay, fine, there's twenties of them. And that's at the absolute maximum.
[you know what they say about the dude ranches. it's a little wild and a little strange, when you make your home out on the range — because there's whole herds of emus out there, apparently.]
[this is getting kind of silly. Dave didn't really hear much of the last song, either, but even as a kid who is pretty much obsessed with hearing new music, he doesn't seem all that bothered by it.]

yeah. it seems like she's finally coming out of her shell, you know? i don't want to do anything to make that harder for her
i don't think she got to spend much time with people outside of her family, before she came here. i've kind of learned my lesson about prying too much into what people do at home, though.
[8'T]
idk... i guess we should probably worry about more important stuff, huh. like how to prevent something like this from happening again

We already established you get that free, keep the hell up.
[ With a lull in the patter one could read awkwardness if one were so inclined. @joker is typing... ]
Maybe we can get back on the chin-ups today or tomorrow now that we don't feel as much like death? Got this gym membership and we're not using it, what gives.

I'm organizing a Persona meeting are you interested?
A few things. Knowing who we are all for one would be nice.
Then I was thinking about comparing our powers, our arcanas and maybe forming small backup groups in case something goes wrong. I know both myself a few others can sense Persona users if they are close enough so that could help us out.
Warn about potential enemies should they show up on the ship.

[they're good references, Bront!! but that last one isn't really inaccurate, either; Dave's basically just the 2000s version of Sam, minus the polite part.]
Toss a few hootenannies in there and you've more or less got an accurate picture of how it'd go.
[rest in peace, Houston-chan. drowned in the Gulf of Goofy Jokes About Texas Stereotypes.]
If we're talking hypotheticals, though, I wouldn't mind showing you some of the places where I used to like hanging out. Not just Houston.

i guess. man, maybe i need to get some more sleep. how tired must i be to be asking you these kinda questions, huh? lol
[It's a joke. If Hajime were the type to use emoji, it'd be more obvious, but as it is, Hajime can only assume that Ryuji's familiar enough with his own brand of dry humor not to take it to heart or anything.]
you don't think so? what, like they got as much data as they needed from this experiment? i don't want to think about what they could come up with next. assuming it even IS researchers and not like... idk, some kind of automated system.
like what if this place was programmed back when this kind of music was still popular, and the researchers are long gone. and the station is just... automatically going through its programming, torturing us even though nobody's watching?
how fucked up would that be

What type of sub-illegal stuff are we talking about?
[Sorry he's just going to home in on the one thing that is important to him.]

I understand but...it's THAT bad? I'm sorry if I asked...I'll see if I can talk to him. I really don't want to get you in trouble.
I guess we got lucky because Kei was with us. He told me that Nanjo Group took care of the issue afterwards, once people's minds stop thinking about what had happened.
[Oh yeah let him just casually tell Ryuji that the Kei he's talking about happens to be THE Kei Nanjo, probably one of the richest men and global corporation in all of Japan along with the Kirijo Group, no big deal, no big deal.]
