[Honestly, Ann isn't sure what the etiquette is here, and even if she did, it's likely she wouldn't care. She doesn't typically let herself get all that invested in other people's personal lives if she can help it, but her friends had both needed her to lend an ear, and she'd been happy to do so. When all was said and done, she was happy for them, but there's still a feeling she just can't shake— or put a name to.
